The HyperLink brand model RE04U is and economical yet high performance omnidirectional antenna and magnetic base designed for the 2.4 GHz ISM band. This compact and lightweight antenna is ideally suited for IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n wireless LANs, Bluetooth, public wireless hotspot application and other multipoint applications where wide coverage is desired.

The RE04U features sealed collinear brass elements inside a durable UV-stable machine gray fiberglass radome. A vented end cap and drain holes in the base help prevent moisture build-up inside the antenna. These features allow the RE04U to be mounted in up or down positions.

Range Extender

The RE04U is designed to connect directly to a wireless Ethernet adapter, access point or any other type of wireless device with an open antenna connection. This allows replacement of the stock antenna that is shipped with the wireless device and in most cases increases the range and performance. The RE04U features a magnetic base suitable for tabletop or mobile use. Constructed with a heavy-duty magnet to ensure positive mounting, this mount is ideal when portability of the antenna is required. The base features 4 ft of low-loss 195 series cable terminated with a N-Male connector, eliminating the need for a separate radio pigtail adapter. Both the antenna and base can also be purchased separately.
